Course Description

This unique course covers the concepts of participatory water management, water harvesting, irrigation systems and latest technologies in agriculture. Participants will be introduced to Irrigation system elements and methods and the importance of implementing participatory water management to achieve the best level of agricultural production using different methods and technologies. Also to improve their knowledge of the recent technological advances in the areas of biotechnology, sensor-based irrigation, information management, precision agriculture and remote-sensing technologies. Practical sight-visit to associations related to course subject is included in the program.
