Course Description

This course demonstrates how to avoid costly errors in the selection and sizing of heating, cooling and air-moving equipment that can result in excess power and energy expense as well as unnecessary capital investment.  It explains and demonstrates the latest methodology for sizing and selecting heating, ventilating and air-conditioning  equipment for commercial buildings; compares and analyzes common types of HVAC systems and currently available energy conserving and recovery equipment; and explores the issue of indoor air quality
