Course Description

This comprehensive 5-day training program, aligned with the European Standard EN 137:2006, NFPA 1852, focuses on respiratory protection using self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and gas testing procedures. Participants will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience to ensure their safety in hazardous environments.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the importance of respiratory protection and the role of SCBA.
  • Identify gas hazards and effectively use gas detectors.
  • Demonstrate proper donning, doffing, and maintenance of SCBA.
  • Execute emergency procedures during gas leaks or hazardous incidents.
  • Conduct fit testing and maintain SCBA equipment.
  • Apply rescue techniques using SCBA in confined spaces.

Who Should Attend?

  • Emergency Responders
  • Industrial Workers
  • Safety Personnel
  • Supervisors and Managers
