Course Description
This comprehensive 5-day training program, aligned with the European Standard EN 137:2006, NFPA 1852, focuses on respiratory protection using self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and gas testing procedures. Participants will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience to ensure their safety in hazardous environments.
Course Objectives
- Understand the importance of respiratory protection and the role of SCBA.
- Identify gas hazards and effectively use gas detectors.
- Demonstrate proper donning, doffing, and maintenance of SCBA.
- Execute emergency procedures during gas leaks or hazardous incidents.
- Conduct fit testing and maintain SCBA equipment.
- Apply rescue techniques using SCBA in confined spaces.
Who Should Attend?
- Emergency Responders
- Industrial Workers
- Safety Personnel
- Supervisors and Managers
