Course Description

Antioxidants have developed in the body to prevent the formation of reactive oxygen species and the damage they cause. All cells fight against oxidative stress with a robust defense system. Excessive increase in oxidant substances or decrease in antioxidants in different forms results in oxidative stress. This course aims to give the participants theoretical and practical knowledge about the oxidative stress techniques used for different purposes in clinical and R&D laboratories.

Course Objectives

  • Introducing the oxidative stress
  • Describing the principles of oxidative stress and antioxidant parameters
  • Analyzing oxidative stress and antioxidant parameters
  • Troubleshooting the most common problems
  • Discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the methods

Who Should Attend?

  • Professionals and  research assistants working in the medical fields (Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine and Basic Sciences)
  • Professionals working in the fields of Biochemistry
  • Professionals working in the areas of hospital departments
