Course Description
A standard consists of a technical specification or other precise criteria designed to be used as a rule or guideline that can be considered as a summary of best practice. Their creation derives from the experience of all interested parties who represent the meeting between the demands of society and technology harmoniously coordinated by Standardisation Bodies.
On international level, the most important standardisation bodies are ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).
Relations with international standards organizations in the field of telecommunication, studies carried out with these organizations and coordination with these organizations are necessary in terms of preparing the opinions of the countries and implementing the decisions taken.
In this framework, it is important to monitor the implementations of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI) and European Union (CEN (European Committee for Standardisation)and CENELEC (European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation) ) standardization policies in the telecommunication sector in order to protect the country's interests.
