Course Description
The Course designed to provide in depth knowledge about the ATS Message handling System (AMHS) used in the Aeronautical Fixed network, and to enable successful AMHS Implementation and Operation in a COM center. Also, the course focuses on the AFTN/AMHS Gateway operation during the transition period.
Course Objectives
- Understanding the AFTN limitation and advantages of the AMHS
- Being familiar with the Aeronautical Telecommunication Network applications
- Explaining the AMHS Architecture, functional components and protocols
- Constructing AMHS Addressee using different addressing scheme
- Converting ATS Informational objects to AFTN and vice versa
- Learning the Extended services and their benefits
- conducting the AMHS Testing phases and developing needed documents
- Explaining the need of the ATS Messaging management center in the middle east (MID AMC)
