Course Description
Travel and transport can be moved to rail from modes of transportation, which have greater benefits to the environment. The goal is for earth and rock masses to be re-used in the respective project wherever possible and for transportation distances to be minimized. Among the types of railways, railway bridges require a deep knowledge not only of structural engineering, but also of the operations and safety requirements of lines. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the work involved in contracts of bridge railways, and will understand the different segments of the construction process and their effects on the contract.
