Course Description

This course is establishes the fundamentals of skills and knowledge necessary to implement a core Windows Server 2012 infrastructure. The course is designed to help IT professionals understand and support the advanced configuration of services necessary to maintain an advanced Windows Server 2012 infrastructure. This includes technologies such as Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), identity management, rights management, Federated services, and advanced networking services, as well as high availability and recovery components such as network load balancing, failover clustering, business continuity and disaster recovery. This course is the third of three courses that will cumulatively provide the complete picture of managing a Server 2012 based network.

  • Implementing advanced file services for File Servers
  • Implementing Dynamic Access Control (DAC).
  • Planning and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  • Configuring advanced network services in DNS
  • Planning and configuring distributed AD DS internal and external inter-operability
  • Implementing Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).
  • Installing and configuring Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS).
