Course Description

After GSM experience all over the world, mobile subscribers increased linearly and forced system to provide more bandwidth. 3GPP , the organization which still keeps the responsibility for the mobile wireless improvements, re-organized the mobile communications and provided a new standard: UMTS ( R99). It is known as WCDMA through the Europe, while it is known as CDMA or CDMA-EvDo in other markets like America and Asia – Pacific. This course will provide the basic knowledge about the most common UMTS standart: WCDMA. After course, attendees will be able to understand the 3G phenomenon well and discuss on it.
