Course Description

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to fiber optic technology, covering the principles, design, and application of fiber optic systems. Students will explore the fundamental concepts of light transmission, including total internal reflection and waveguide theory, as well as the components that make up fiber optic networks, such as fibers, connectors, and splices.
