Course Description
This course covers ESP basics of design, operation and optimization, ESP components, troubleshooting and ESP surface equipment.
By the end of the course, trainees will be familiar with all ESP types and their uses in addition to ESP wells down hole problems and the best solution applied in artificial Lift technology.
Trainees will be familiar with the newest ESP technology and Down Hole Monitoring tools which are considered as the eyes of the ESP operators.
Trainees will be familiar with VSD Variable speed drives and their application in ESP wells.
Course Objectives
- Learn about the design considerations for ESP systems, including pump selection, motor sizing, and cable design.
- Understand the basic operation principles of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) in oil and gas production.
- Explore optimization techniques for ESP systems to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
