Course Description
This is a customized program for Ashghal technical staff members (fresh engineers) to be conducted in Istanbul in colloaboration with relevant authorities and administrations.
With the rapid increase in the number of vehicles carrying goods and passengers on roads daily, the planning, construction and improvement of roads has its impacts on the condition of trades, tourism, and the daily life of citizens. This 5-day course is designed to provide delegates with an opportunity to learn contemporary theories in road engineering supervision. It covers topics such as rout selection, road safety, road maintenance, traffic engineering and other topics related to road projects management.
The program will be interactive involving activities, site visits and workshops by instructors who have long experience in the field. Participants in this program will have the opportunity get an overview of the field. Topics will be covered at high level and rather than in depth. Tentative course structure is given below, but based on further input by Ashghal, topics are subject to change.
