Course Description
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of control room emergency response. It covers the control room emergency response, Bhopal disaster and other cases studies; the phases of emergency management and the various types of emergency situations in the control room; the elements of emergency plan and applications for the control room; the control room emergency response methodology and consequences estimation of fire and explosion, chemical release, personnel accident and shutdown; and the control room emergency organization, control room emergency communication, emergency equipment and material maintenance.
Course Objectives
- Apply and gain an in-depth knowledge on control room emergency response
- Discuss the control room emergency response, Bhopal disaster and other cases studies
- Identify the phases of emergency management including the various types of emergency situations in the control room and elements of emergency plan and applications for the control room
- Carryout control room emergency response methodology and illustrate the consequences estimation of fire and explosion, chemical release, personnel accident and shutdown
