Course Description
Hydraulic Circuit Components course helps participants to understand the fundamentals of hydraulic circuits technology. It is designed to familiarize them with hydraulic circuits principles such as pumps, actuators, valves, fluid and safety as well as maintenance and troubleshooting of these circuits. Participants will be able to determine how to lock an actuator using pilot check valves. They will also to understand what basic synchronizing circuit and basic intensifier circuit are. The course explores some considerations for building a basic circuit.
Course Objectives
- Describing a basic High-Low circuit
- Describing the basic unloading circuit
- Describing the basic cylinder sequencing circuit
- Describing the basic reciprocating cylinder circuit
- Distinguishing between a meter-in and meter-out circuit
- Distinguishing between a bleed-off and a variable feed circuit
- Identifying different types of filter circuits
- Describing a basic single-acting and double-acting cylinder circuit
- Describing the uses of an accumulator as backup power
- Describing accumulator circuits for leakage and shock
