Course Description

This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for seafarers for familiarization, basic safety training and instruction in accordance with Section A‐VI/1 of STCW Code

Course Objectives

Learning the identify of emergency situations types such as collision, fire, sinking
Learning the identify of types of life-saving appliances normally carried on ships
Understanding the equipment in survival craft
Learning about location of personal life-saving appliances
Understanding the principles concerning survival
