Course Description

Soil, water, plants, their interactions, as well as irrigation systems and remote sensing techniques applications will be visited, planning and management will be covered in the the training, as these are vital experiences in agriculture world. The course will also include field visits that will provide variety of experiences to the participants. By the end of the course, participants will develop analytical skills relevant to the areas of soil, plants, their interactions, particularly the design of pressure irrigation system projects, which are sprinkler and drip irrigation systems.

• Visiting and experiencing applications of the design of high efficiency irrigation systems.
• Constructing, project and analyzing high efficiency irrigation systems and their components.
• Comprehending the hydrologic cycle, its principles and process that is needed in order to effectively manage water resources through remote sensing techniques and high efficiency irrigation systems. 
• Improving communication skills and instilling an awareness of a professional, ethical and social responsibility through discussing contemporary affairs.
