Course Description

The antenna is the first element of the input system to any wireless signal receiving system (for broadcast systems, it's the final element); the rest of the system works with the signal provided by the antenna. For optimal system performance, we need to choose the correct antenna and be able to deal effeciently with it. This course treats fundamental antenna concepts and modern applications as well as how to setup, operate, and maintain these systems, including antennas for wireless. Many examples and design procedures are covered

Course Objectives

  • Understanding antennas theory and design techniques
  • Learning how to install antenna systems properly
  • Being able to operate and maintain antenna systems
  • Understanding how multiple antenna systems, beamforming, and array antennas all work

Who Should Attend?

  • Engineers who use antennas
  • Engineers involved in communication systems
  • Wireless engineers or managers
  • Electronic and Mobile Commerce engineers
  • Anyone who works directly or indirectly with a communications system
