Course Description
This course has been designed to provide a detailed insight into the presentation and analysis of claims under the FIDIC Contracts (1999 and 2017 editions). The program has been designed to be highly practical and includes workshops and discussion sessions.
The course provides a detailed examination of the FIDIC Suite of Contracts (Red, Yellow, and Silver books) to provide a full understanding of the circumstances under which the claims can be made, the procedures, and what may be claimed.

- Understand the defending and making claim and dispute resolution procedures under the FIDIC Suite of Contracts
- Recognize practical issues encountered on projects as to claims and disputes and learn how to address those claims
- Create a claim response or defense strategy
- Identify, control, and respond to claims properly and efficiently
- Evaluate and verify entitlement to additional time
- Controlling project time and cost more effectively
- Ensure that contract administration systems help to avoid, identify, and control claims and that records are available for claim defense
