Course Description
Cased hole logging is a well-logging technique used to evaluate the condition of a well after casing and cementing. It involves running specialized tools into the well to assess parameters such as cement integrity, fluid movement, reservoir saturation, and casing wear or corrosion. This data helps optimize production, identify potential issues, and plan interventions like perforations or remedial work. Unlike open-hole logging, cased hole logging is performed after the well has been completed, making it essential for maintaining well performance and longevity.
This 5-day training program provides an updated overview of cased hole logging techniques, covering both traditional and modern wireline diagnostic methods for well surveillance. The course emphasizes cement bond evaluation, corrosion detection, production logging, well integrity assessment, and advanced monitoring tools.
