Course Description
This course tackles the necessity of using information management systems in the digital age. An electronic document and records management system or EDRMS is an automated software application designed to assist you with the creation, management, use, storage and disposal of information and records. The term has some overlap with the concepts of content management systems. It is often viewed as a component of enterprise content management systems and related to digital asset management, document imaging, workflow systems and records management systems. This course shows participants how to deal with documents and records in taking into account the risks posed by the digital landscape such as security and metadata issues.
