Course Description
Mine water and waste management are critical issues for safe and efficient underground and pit mining operations and to minimize environmental impacts at all stages from feasibility assessment to mine closure. This course is a comprehensive treatment of the application of geotechnical engineering to site selection, site exploration, design, operation and closure of mine waste storage facilities.
