Course Description
This course provides an understanding of knowledge requirements in project management, explains the need for knowledge management (KM), and its impacts on business performance sustainability, focusing on projects.
The course explains related procedures, practicesand techniques for organizing, capturing, sharing and storing knowledge in order to achieve value through projects, in the context of KM.
The course aims at developing knowledge and understanding of contemporary theories and practices of KM in all aspects of project management, from start to end. The course examines the relationship between theoretical understanding of KM and real-life situations by integrating different dimensions of knowledge management arising from human resource management, information systems and strategic management.
